Jim, you will be missed

when I got the phone call last friday morning, i didn't know how to react. I was blown away that a friend of mine had passed away. He had been on the fire department for 20 years and I had known him for 14 years. He was my first training officer at the fire department, and we have had our share of good times and bad times. In the end, I will miss him greatly.

I wish I was in New Orleans...
With the aniversary and all I wish I was there, to see how things are shaping up.

That, and to have a cup of coffee and Bignets, sittting on the open air, the sights sounds and tastes of the big easy surrounding me.
